Anqi and the PC knew that they had to act fast if they wanted to catch the thief before it was too late. They set up a sting operation, using Anqi's expertise in technology to create a fake ransom payment that would lead them directly to the thief's location. As soon as the thief accepted the offer and arrived at the designated meeting spot, Anqi and the PC were ready for him. They apprehended the thief without any trouble, and when they searched him, they found that he was carrying all of the stolen items. It turned out that the thief was a former employee of Mr. Smith who had been fired several months ago. He had been watching Anqi and the PC work on the case from afar, studying their methods and waiting for the perfect moment to strike. But in the end, it was his own greed that led to his downfall. Anqi and the PC were hailed as heroes by Mr. Smith and the rest of the community, and they celebrated their success with a well-deserved night out on the town.
